Author Biography

Kurtis Estes is a writer, creator, and all-around DIY enthusiast living just outside Los Angeles with his wife, two sons, three chickens, and a dog who's old enough to rent a car. With experience managing pop culture icons like Harry Potter and Batman, Kurtis now spends his days helping axolotls learn life lessons in his children's book series, writing about emotional support sloths, and turning his garage into a rockstar-worthy recording studio. When not writing or wielding a hammer, he's probably reading Amazon reviews of his own work, because hey, everyone needs a good laugh!

Lydia Nichols is an image-maker/storyteller with a penchant for printmaking processes and anthropomorphic touches. As a kid, she declared her intent to become either a vet or a cartoonist. She is neither but considers working as an illustrator who frequently draws animals a childhood dream come true. To answer an oft asked question: the red hair is 100% real.
